Zyrtec-D® is drug used to treat several allergy symptoms, including watery eyes, itchy throat, and nasal congestion. This over-the-counter drug contains an antihistamine (cetirizine) and a decongestant (pseudoephedrine). Available in tablet form, Zyrtec-D is taken twice a day, with about 12 hours in between doses. Common side effects include insomnia, dry mouth, and fatigue.
