Zetonna is a steroid nasal spray. Although studies have shown that other steroids pass through breast milk, it is unknown if ciclesonide (the active ingredient in Zetonna) would also pass through breast milk. Studies in lactating rats showed that Zetonna passes through rat breast milk in low amounts.
