Zaditor Drug Interactions

Zaditor® (ketotifen ophthalmic solution) is a non-prescription eyedrop approved for treating itchy eyes related to eye allergies (known medically as allergic conjunctivitis) due to pollen, ragweed, or animal hair and dander.

Zaditor is an eyedrop, and little of the medication actually reaches the bloodstream and, therefore, the rest of the body. As a result, significant drug interactions with Zaditor are not expected. This means that Zaditor is unlikely to affect other medications, and other medications are unlikely to affect Zaditor.

There may be Zaditor drug interactions that are currently unknown but that may be discovered in the future. Therefore, it is always a good idea to include Zaditor in your list of medications when checking for interactions. Also, be sure to check with your healthcare provider about any possible interactions that may apply to your particular situation.
