Adults and children (age two and older) who have seasonal or perennial nasal symptoms may benefit from Veramyst™ (fluticasone furoate nasal spray). As a type of steroid, this medication can help treat symptoms such as sneezing, runny or stuffy nose, and nasal itching. This prescription drug comes in the form of a nasal spray and is typically taken once a day. Most people tolerate it well. However, it is not suitable for everyone. Before using it, make sure to talk to your healthcare provider about any other medical conditions you may have and any other medications you are taking (including vitamins and herbal supplements).
