Singulair® (montelukast sodium) is a prescription drug approved for the treatment of asthma and allergic rhinitis. By blocking certain chemicals in the body, the medication can help improve asthma symptoms, reduce asthma attacks, and relieve common nasal allergy symptoms. Singulair comes in the form of tablets, chewable tablets, and oral granules.
