Singulair 10 mg Tablets

 Singulair® (montelukast sodium) is a medication licensed to treat asthma and allergic rhinitis (itchy, stuffy, irritated, or runny nose due to allergies).
 
It is available by prescription only and comes in several different forms and strengths, including:
 
  • Singulair 4 mg chewable tablets
  • Singulair 5 mg chewable tablets
  • Singulair 10 mg tablets
  • Singulair oral granule packets (containing 4 mg per packet).

The recommended dosage for treating asthma or allergies in adults and adolescents ages 15 and older is Singular 10 mg once daily. For children 6 to 14 years old, the recommended dose is Singulair 5 mg once daily. Younger children should take 4 mg daily (either as a chewable tablet or packet of oral granules).
