Side effects of Singulair
® can include
headaches, stomach pain, fever, sore throat, and
diarrhea. In addition, they have been reported in both adults and children taking the drug. In most cases, these side effects are easily treated. However, some Singulair side effects should be reported to your healthcare provider right away, such as jaundice, difficulty breathing, or an unexplained rash.
While
depression may be a possible side effect of this medication, it is so uncommon in people taking Singulair (and so common in the general population), that it is hard to say for certain if there is a link between depression and Singulair.
Weight gain is not a reported side effect of Singulair. If you experience weight gain while taking it, lifestyle modifications may help.
