Rhinocort Nasal Spray

People with seasonal or year-round nasal allergy symptoms may benefit from Rhinocort Aqua® (budesonide nasal spray). The medication comes in nasal spray form and is a type of steroid that decreases inflammation to help relieve sneezing, nasal itching, and stuffy or runny nose.

Rhinocort nasal spray is approved for use in both adults and children ages six and older. Although it is often thought that nasal steroids take longer than other allergy medications to start working, clinical studies have shown that people usually experience an improvement in their nasal symptoms within 10 hours of using Rhinocort Aqua.

Before your healthcare provider prescribes you Rhinocort nasal spray, make sure he or she is aware if you are pregnant, have never had chickenpox or the measles, or have recently had nasal surgery. It is also important to let him or her know about all other medicines you are taking.
