 Quercetin is a flavonoid found in a variety of different plants and is claimed to provide a variety of health benefits. Although quercetin can be obtained through eating certain fruits and vegetables, it is also available in dietary supplements. There is no strong scientific evidence that quercetin really works for most of the uses listed in this article. Although there are plenty of studies demonstrating possible benefits using laboratory animals or cells, little research has been done in humans.
