Pataday Medication Information

Pataday™ (olopatadine ophthalmic solution) is a prescription eyedrop used for the treatment of itchy eyes due to eye allergies (known medically as allergic conjunctivitis). This medication can successfully treat eye allergies with just one dose per day.
 
Before you start using this medication, information on Pataday should be discussed with your healthcare provider to help ensure a safe treatment process. You should talk to your healthcare provider before using this antihistamine drug if you are pregnant, are breastfeeding, or have any allergies (including allergies to food, dyes, or preservatives).
 
As with any medicine, side effects are possible with Pataday. However, not everyone who uses the drug will experience problems. Most people tolerate it quite well. If side effects do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or can easily be treated by you or your healthcare provider.
