Pataday Drug Interactions
Pataday™ (olopatadine ophthalmic solution) is a once-daily prescription eyedrop approved for treating itchy eyes due to eye allergies (known medically as allergic conjunctivitis). Because very little of the medication actually reaches the bloodstream (and, therefore, the rest of the body), significant drug interactions with Pataday are not expected. Pataday is unlikely to affect other medications, and other medications are unlikely to affect Pataday.
There may be Pataday drug interactions that are currently unknown but that may be discovered at a later date. Therefore, it is always a good idea to include Pataday in your list of medications when checking for interactions. Also, be sure to check with your healthcare provider about any possible interactions that may apply to your particular situation.
