Flonase® (fluticasone propionate nasal spray) is a prescription medication approved to treat sneezing, runny or stuffy nose, and nasal itching. The medication is available by prescription and is generally used once or twice a day. While most people have no problems with it, potential side effects include nosebleed, headache, sore throat, and nasal burning or irritation.
 
Because this medication is not suitable for everyone, tell your healthcare provider about all medical conditions you have before beginning treatment, including if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
