Flonase® (fluticasone propionate nasal spray) is a medication licensed to treat sneezing, runny or stuffy nose, and nasal itching (known medically as rhinitis). This nasal spray is approved to treat these symptoms that are caused by either allergies (known as allergic rhinitis) or other causes (known as non-allergic rhinitis). It is typically taken once or twice a day. A few of the common side effects seen with Flonase nasal spray include headaches, nosebleeds, and a sore throat.
