Claritin and Breastfeeding

Studies on Claritin and breastfeeding have shown that the medication does pass through breast milk. However, it does so in such a small amount that it is unlikely to have any effects on a nursing infant. Although most healthcare providers consider Claritin and breastfeeding to be a safe combination, you should still watch for any side effects or changes in your child.
