Benadryl's Inactive Ingredients

There are many different Benadryl products, each with different inactive ingredients. The inactive ingredients are necessary for various purposes, such as fillers to make a tablet large enough to handle. Other inactive ingredients may be necessary during the manufacturing process or may serve other purposes. Ingredients in Generic Benadryl

Generic Benadryl is made by numerous different manufacturers, and each generic can have different inactive ingredients (although they all contain the same active ingredients in the same amounts). This can cause problems for people with certain allergies or sensitivities. If you have an allergy to a dye, preservative, or other inactive ingredient commonly used in medications, make sure to check the list of inactive ingredients very carefully.
