Astelin Uses in Children

Astelin is approved to treat nasal allergies in children as young as 5 years old and vasomotor rhinitis in children as young as 12 years old. Talk to your healthcare provider about the benefits and risks of using the drug in children.
 

Off-Label Astelin Uses

On occasion, your healthcare provider may recommend Astelin for treating something other than nasal allergies or vasomotor rhinitis. Using the drug to treat perennial (year-round) nasal allergies is considered an off-label use of Astelin.
