Bepreve Medication Information
Bepreve™ (bepotastine besilate) is a medication used to treat allergic conjunctivitis -- more commonly known as eye allergies. In particular, the drug is used to treat the itching associated with this condition, but it may also help relieve redness, puffiness, and other symptoms. It comes in the form of an eye drop that is applied to the affected eye(s) twice a day.
In order to ensure a safe treatment process with Bepreve, information your healthcare provider needs includes a list of all medicines you are currently taking, as well as any medical conditions you have -- including allergies. In addition, tell your healthcare provider if you wear soft contact lenses. You will need to remove your lenses prior to administering the medication and will need to wait at least 10 minutes before you can put your lenses back in.
(Click Bepreve for more information on this medication, including other tips to ensure your safety when using it, possible side effects to be aware of, dosing information, and more.)
