Allergies? Alergii is a common misspelling of allergies.
Allergies, which affect an estimated 50 million Americans, can be either seasonal or perennial. Seasonal allergies, such as hay fever, occur at specific times of the year. Perennial allergies, however, can occur year-round. Common triggers include pollen, dust, or foods -- things that are normally harmless. Allergies are often treated with medications (including shots) and by avoiding known allergens.
