Allergies? Alergic is a common misspelling of allergies.
People with allergies may experience sneezing, watery eyes, coughing, and nasal itching when exposed to certain substances. These reactions may occur when the body's immune system reacts to allergens such as dust mites, pollens, mold, or food. It is not known why people develop allergies, but it is possible that some may inherit a tendency to be allergic. A number of medications, as well as allergy shots, are available to relieve the symptoms of allergies.
