Allegra Side Affects

As with any medication, side effects can occur with Allegra® (fexofenadine hydrochloride). The most common side effects that have been reported with this allergy medicine include coughing, headache, vomiting, and diarrhea. Other rare but possible Allegra side effects (occurring in less than 2 percent of people) include insomnia, difficulty breathing, and painful menstrual periods. It is important to know that most people tolerate this drug well; if side effects do occur, they are often minor.
