Alavert 10 mg Tablets

For most people, there is just one standard recommended dose for
Alavert® (loratadine). The recommended dosage for treating allergy symptoms in adults and children age six years and older is Alavert 10 mg tablets once daily. If you have liver or kidney disease, you should consult your healthcare provider before taking this drug, as you may need a lower dosage.

Alavert comes in tablets or orally disintegrating tablets. Each form is only available in 10 mg. Alavert 10 mg tablets are typically taken by mouth once daily. You can take the medication with food or on an empty stomach. If Alavert bothers your stomach, try taking it with food. Some people need to take this medication all year long, while others take it only during allergy season.
